Me too. Installed (make that re-installed for about the 15th time) the power windows. Installed the switches and wiring, and - amazingly, they go up when I push the "up" button and down when I push the "down" button.
Replaced all the bolts holding the master cyinder, accelerator pedal, and anything else visible with button-head stainless machine screws. I polished all the heads first.
I also installed the weather stripping. (Warning - another Gibbon story follows) The doors were so poorly formed that about half of the stripping on the back of the doors doesn't touch the body. Same with the trunk. I knew this would happen, but I'm dam**d if I was ever going to build up the door frame and/or the doors. I'll make it work with some different weatherstrip. I also installed a couple of drains in the bottom of the trunk opening. There is no way any weatherstripping would keep water out. I inset a couple of flared copper tubes in the bottom of the channel, then ran a vinyl hose down through the floor.
Found out that Kyle sold me a touched-up but worn-out Vega steering box. Another one's on the way from eBay.
Made a list of stuff that Kyle sent with the '34 that I have now thrown away - or sold:
- Front windshield (junked)
- Windshield mounting kit (junked)
- Steering column drop (sold for about half price)
- Front coil-overs (sold for about 30% of new cost)
- Vega box (to be junked)
Shut down in the evening, and took she who must be obeyed for a wedding anniversary dinner at Ruth's Chris.
Not a bad day, that.Jack

Right after I posted yesterday it was down again, I don't think it's getting better.
Where is everybody?
