Love your Groucho avatar, Hoss...**)
Here's my sisters (9), my brother, and me. I'm on the right, youngest of 11. Now you know how I learned to work on cars; my brother and I had a lot of sisters' cars to take care of. They always seemed to marry guys who couldn't fix anything!

but it has a long way to go also.
I spent a day hiking to a lake in Glaciar National park kinda stupid to do by myself, if weather condition would have changed and not a another person new I was there could have change my life's story. Oh well was young then. Beautiful country. ED
Ed what kind of rear axel did you run on the 50 F1? I'm still working out what will work, and be the easiest to put in there. The 460 with c6 probably will kill the stock original that is in there.

I'm a newbie poster here but I joined when Brent first started the CHR and have lurked here often. I owned 2 Cobra replicas, a 427 S/C and just sold my last one, a 289 FIA and have been a CC member for years. It's time for something new now and since I've always wanted a street rod and never had one now is the time. I'll have a '48 Anglia on the way soon.
My lovely wife and I on a Cobra run in Pt. Townsend, WA with our FIA.

I used one out of a 76 mustang 9" it was the correct width and it had the same bolt pattern as the front end mustang II. The ones out of the Ford truck I for get the years like 67-72 are a direct bolt in and bolt pattern for the older front end. You may have to put a shim in the perch to get the correct pinion angle. I had to relocate the spring perches and start over. And I used the center section from an old bronco 3.5o gears 9" posi. I really would like to find a 4.10 gear because I have a 700r4 overdrive and a 327 1963 vette motor. geared too high and 29" tires.
The one in the chevy and even a better choice is an Explorer rear, correct with and disc brake rear I think is is a 98 Explorer 3.73 and a locker.
