Thanks HR46. Haven't been on this site in years. Will have to get used to how it works.
I am slowly being dragged into the 21 st century.
Barrian Buggy frame, body, and other parts.
IRS and ball joint suspension
Zero time 1776 with 110 cam and dual 44 mm carbs.
Hybrid steering column from Karman Ghia and standard Beetle.
I have to figure out how to load more photos.
The Sebring is SWEET ! In 1998 I almost built one of those instead of the Cobra. I think the Sebring has more interior room than the CR Cobra. That would have been an advantage for my 6'-2" / 240 pound body. As it was I had to lower the floors in the Cobra by 2-1/2". When it was completed (2003) I was able to look through the windshield instead of over it.
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
