I'd actually much prefer that as a trophy! Pour a beer in it - set back into your favorite chair and enjoy!

Thanks guys! Yes sir it is. I have definitely missed having a manual car to beat around in!
I was really surprised to get one. There were so many nice cars there, I never go expecting to win. I like to look at other people's cars and we actually checked out a few Model A's getting ideas for Allyson's Dodge.
Thanks and wow! That is funny stuff.

I can't say too much really. The 40 looks like a barn find now. No joke. I guess I could blame Seth for the 40 not being done? Since he sold me this I just abandoned the 40.

Well, if you've abandoned the 40, I'll swing by with my trailer and rescue it... now that you've got the Camaro going, you won't need or miss her right??? LOL....

You can swing by but the only 40 you are going to get will come from the convenience store. So save all that gas and just walk in to your nearest convenience store and buy your own 40.
It is abandoned but confined and secured. The dust has it trapped. But at least no critters have made it a home. I routinely check in on him. Haha

Get my own 40 hah..Actually I was thinking about it later - I could round up a bigger truck & trailer combo.. Run out to California and pickup that 37 that R2 has abandoned! Then swing by and get that 40 from you... OH, and then there's a 32 that Mr. Spears has .... I could get quite a haul going!!
But then reality bit me in the butt! "Cause I haven't got the ambition to work on my own coupe, so who the he_ _ am I kidding!

Probably want to charge me a nickle to see it too!
Be careful... I've been known to take folks up on that offer!

Time flies when you're having fun!!! I've just been busy working and driving this thing before old lady winter rares her face...... (Which showed up yesterday)
The first 2 pics are from the Winterset covered bridge festival show a few weeks ago. That was a hour and forty five minute trip. I was in the mid 30s when we left so I grabbed blankets for the kids. Someone hasn't installed the vintage air system yet.
I stopped in the town we lived in when I was first born. My grandparents lived there for years after we left. The only place left the same is the COOP and the gas station next to the lounge my grandpa used to go to. We made many trips to the COOP back in the day. There was also a speed shop there until 2003 or so when the owner passed away. Lavertty performance center was the name. I spent my first house money there. Poor life choices.Expensive life lessons as my Dad said. Haha
I was daily driving it as much as I could. A couple nights I had to drive in some pretty nasty storms. That no heater game is not bad but the no defroster deal can be dicey.
All the car shows and get togethers are pretty much over with around here now. Last Friday was pretty nice so I drove down to a park we used to play baseball in all the time. It has some nice scenic areas. It is quiet and peaceful there so photo ops are no worries. (Even on the tracks in the pic coming in the next post)Ryan

Damn, that's something I didn't want to hear. I'm glad I got to meet him and Rosie and Rick. I'm proud to have had him as a friend, RIP Johnboy
