i have done this repair many times over the years . you may find the saddle cracked also. it's hard for a repair on fatigued metal to hold up. keep a close eye on it .

kind of small, only picture I have with the LEDs, if I remember I'll take some when I get home tonight.

we did a pretty thorough inspection of the entire frame/chassis when we fixed this issue.. didn't see any other issues, but yeah I am keeping an eye on it.
