Thanks folks, I was going to have it painted all orange but told Rich he did have some creative control since he was a builder & I was just a guy w/an idea of what he wanted. He said he'd play w/some different paint schemes and when he showed me the above picture it was like "OH hell yeah I like it". The top is a light cream, silver stripe on the body line & the orange is the stock 1948 Chevy orange, which he had the original paint code for. There will also be a thin purple pin striping that will run above/below the silver stripe. I feel like that 10yr old kid back in 1966 when my parents gave me that banana seat bike w/those high-rise handlebars......joe
