My 1929 Model A RPU: The Home Stretch
I have been working on this thing for about 2 years - work has been slow - but now shaping up in the final stages. It is a brookville body (original tank and hood) - modified brookville frame. I bought the frame with the body - but didn't want the coil over rear. The chassis work was done by Rusty at Dirty's Speed Shop. He did several modifications in order to make it all work (Great work, great guy).
Specs:
9" Ford Rear (57 Ford) with 4:11 Locker
SBC
700R4
Dropped and Drilled Model A axle
Split original wishbones
Vega steering box
Early front brakes - 57 Ford rear brakes
40 steel wheels (for now)
Color is 1940 Mandarin Maroon with Black Fenders. Should be out of the paint booth and assembled in the next few weeks.
