I was kind of surprised those old rims bolted up and fit as well as they did! They couldn't have fit any better then if I had ordered them special. I don't mind the look myself, kind of "old school" late 60's/early 70's look BUT... The wife says it needs shiney rims like the ones that came on it so, what's guy to do??? It'll get some shiney rims!

The carb swap is a pain but it's probably all for the best anyway. I am re-doing the old, brittle fuel line and will be waiting all weekend for parts to come in that I just ordered last night so it will be next week before she is back up and running. While she's apart (I pulled the battery & battery bracket last night so I could access the fuel line) I'll do some major cleaning and polishing. At least I can be getting something done while I am waiting.
