I filled the slots in front and back of the top mounting tabs and filled the gouges that the top made by sitting too far forward, masked off the interior and body panels and finally bit the bullet and sprayed some primer, color and clear. Hoping that a cut & buff of the body will blend everything. If not I may spray some primer, do some selective sanding and call it a '50's work in progress!
