I got back to playing with my home made 4x2 intake. Finished up welding it ,after finely filling my tanks again. So time to test for leaks, made up some block offs from hose an plywood to seal up each part. Add some air psi from tire fill valve stuck in the hose. Then I sprayed them with soapy water an looked for bubbles, sure enough had some leaks to foam up. Marked them with a prick punch an rewelded,an reground welds to look kind of OK. Had to repet that 3 times before I got no bubbles anymore. So next is to take the two parts over to a buddys that has a two foot+ long beltsander and let him just make gasket places flat. Leaks at were the plywood seal was didn't matter, just payed no mind to those.
