    The rain stopped at lest for a little time,so got the rod outside to polish,first step was the old alum slots,rears had been just gray from someone sandblasting them long ago,and fronts never had anything done from new,whenever that was?,so showing dull of time. I sanded with wet n dry 1200 [hardist part]. Used Mothers alum wheel polish with that ball thing. Looks OK to me,so showed them off to the wife
