Thanks. We contemplated quite a while on the colors before settling on the black and champagne. The car really pops in the sun.

Nice to see you back on here! I have wondered how you and the car were doing. It sounds really nice, and the paint and body looks so nice! I really like all the shaved bits and those hidden hinges turned out awesome. One of, if not the nicest 4 door 39 Chevy around! Great work.
Looking at your thread brings back memories, had one of these fine automobiles in high school. Was there a reason for your tail light selection? I sure do love the tear drop tail lights that were OEM. Just my 1 cent worth. P.S. the thing that surprised me about this fine vehicle was the amount of room in the rear seating area, it is huge back there.
Yeah, a family of refugees could live in the back seat. However, cars of the 30's "wedge" really hard to the front. My frt seats, from a 2010 Cadallic STS, just barely fit, side by side.
Since the car is a four door I wanted to shave everything and get it as low as conciveable to increase the "cool" factor.
OK---Got the smooth running boards about done. Just need to skim and block em, then get em painted.;);)

Sent to boards off to paint. Now to get started on getting the Ride Tech Air Ride controls installed.
Short video of air ride:

Looks pretty cool, thanks for the video!
Looking very nice!
I'm surprised how quick it goes up and down, does it have a muffler system for the released air ? :o. You could always blame the person beside you for eating too many beans .:HMMM:. Seriously though, will you be able to drive the car in the lowered position ?
The tank holds 150 psi and the ShockWaves hold about 60psi front and 45psi rear. No muffler for the exhaust, do you have your sound turned up? I thought it was pretty loud. I'm using their PRO RIDE DIGITAL system. I would like to find a way to release both front and rear together. Kinda like a WOW factor when both ends go down together. I really can't drive it when it's completely lowered, which I didn't show in the video. The lowered position shown in the video will be just about ride height for me. Completely lowered is for parking at the show.
Fabbed up and installed brackets for the Ride Tech, Air Pod air ride controls. Takes up more room than I thought it would.

Beautiful job; you really took the old bow tie to another level.
