Smoothing the frame is one of those really tedious tasks of a build--and nobody ever really notices it!!! Oh well, still a whole lot nicer having it all done and nice then having some car will a killer paint job, and rattle can black on the frame, except where the rust is showing through!!!! As always, fit, finish, and detail is what makes it a Hot Rod!!!!!!!
-
oooo so close :) what color is the body going to be ?
-
Nice work, Ditto what Dave said. Always nice to watch someone with such attention to detail! I seriously lack the time and motivation to be as thourough or skilled! But I do appreciate those who are!
-
Thanks guys it does certainly take alot of time now i know why you just dont see to many cars done with this extreme amount of detail. alot of work but is fun to see it come together.
Should have some more pics up monday of the progress about have the whole top and sides done and blocked by tomorrow and then have to start on the bottom side should be a lil easier sanding then around all these body mounts its a big chore.
Heres the color the car and "frame" will be Green tea met.

Can't wait to see that chassis in paint. Man, have you got patience.
.

Well its done....The new cross member that is lol
Had to cut out the center section to ad a removable cross member
and in staying with the "V" theme i made the mount to come around and mount from the back side to accomadate the deep sump tranny pan going on the new T400
will drill mount holes when tranny is placed in.
Getting there .now ill get back to the sanding .
Later GP
