Wow what a great day today has been, sunshine all day Got out there bright & early and got the front axle etc in place, I also made a little towing fixture which bolts to the frame to make it easier to get to and from the lockup where its stored.












Also got the rear axle & spring all mounted, next I will mount the motor & transmission, ran out of light in the end otherwise would of got the rear wheels on

on one side is there another bracket going
on outside

Sorry I must of posted this on the wrong thread If you look carefully you will see the existing chassis leg acts as the outside shear bracket.

I can't see the outside shear bracket that you mention, Steve. If you look at that last picture, your new piece provides the inside shear plate, where the bolt head resides, then the bushed insert and a washer & nut on the outer end, where I would expect to see another vertical mounting shear plate to sandwich the bushed end of the ladder bar. There's an access hole cut in the wall of the frame, allowing clearance for the ladder bar end, but I can't see any outer support welded to the frame in these pictures. Am I missing something?

I havn't welded them in yet Roger, Will do it when its stripped down.

That's what I thought initially, but then when you said, "...if you look carefully you will see...." I thought I must be going a bit crazy, or blind....
