I guess I haven't been here frequently enough recently to realize Don was gone. I had noticed there hadn't been updates on his rpu, but just figured he had been helping Dan with his engine. Don was the one who really drew me in here helping me with a direction on my build and reading his $3k '23 T.

So did he just decide to move on? I know he seemed annoyed with some site changes..'35 Ford coupe- LT1/T56, '32 Ford pickup, 70 GTO convertible, 06 GTO

I looked for the recent post where Don said he would not be around anymore but couldn't find it. As I recall he simply said that he had been frequenting "...another forum.." more lately and that we would not be seeing him on CHR so much anymore. Several people commented back to him that they hoped he would reconsider, but he's not been back, or at least has not posted if he was lurking. The last post listed for Don is December 20, according to his "Show All Posts" listing.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I had a slice of good fortune last week I had ordered a 8/71 blower kit from the states but this has taken longer than expected

Meanwhile i was offered a complete Weiand 8/71 small block chevy kit for considarably less so i just altered my order to not have the blower.

Anyway i took the plunge and got it, I have to make a longer snout but its only a bit of work so don't mind considering i saved over $1500

More good news today when i got an email saying my intake was on its way to my shippers and would be here next thursday
