    Those old repairs look like what I would have done when I was young and green, still have a little green left, but am learning. I am getting better at tig welding holes and cracks. Your fixes will make everything right.

    Yes, it's a fake ........ it is a shroud which houses a K&N filter for an Edelbrock 600 cfm carb ........... it was built by Alan Shadwick in New Zealand .......... he does beautiful work and the Thames looks great with the velocity stacks sticking through the hood



    The car is being built as a "driver" street rod ........ it will not be a "trailer queen"

    It looks great! Glad they found the problem areas before you guys went to paint it! I bet your really glad to be out of the other shop!
