    WOW

    Very Neat.....and just in time to give me some ideas for my 37 Dodge. I'm Planning on pulling mt 37 Dodge back in this summer to do some changes from the original mockup (yes Uncle Bob I REALLY am). One of the changes will be headers instead of manifolds and I figured I'd run into some angle problems. That double joint you used looks like it would come in very handy. If you don't mind me asking, where did you sources the parts from (to include the firewall flange).
    I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....

    Looking good and yes that dash is outstanding. Good layout of the gauges and I do like those old style faces compared to the digital. Also what is the effect on the right hand side of the dash or is it just sanding marks? I really didn't want you to lower your flowerpots too much but with the photo looking out from the inside I understand that they couldn't be too high. Yes you are nailing it perfectly.

    I have been trying to figure out how I was going to get my steering rerouted to accommodate the headers I have laying in the barn because of the steering. Thanks!

    I'll find out Mike ........ Josh replaced the original ididit setup that I had purchased with what you see ........ honestly, I like this much better than the ididit double d shaft ......... it will be Monday before I can reach him.

    Thanks sir ........ our intention is to keep him looking as much like an old '60's Gasser as we can ........ and those Autometer gauges just looked right ........ what you are seeing on the right hand side of the dash is five bead rolls centered vertically in the panel ........ they are 1" apart and the lengths (from the top) are 6", 8" 10",8", and 6" ........... the dash will be painted and I believe those rolls will break up the expanse on the right side very nicely........ we will have an ignition switch and three toggle switches centered under the smaller gauges (lights, interior light, & electric fan)

    Mike .......... the joints, heims, and the firewall flange are from Borgeson ........ the shafts were made from polished steel rod and Josh machined and finished the ends and attached them to the joints

    Similar joints are availble from Flaming River. The FR ones are nickel plated; http://www.flamingriver.com/index.cf...cat/cat115.htm , which are way less prone to rusting than the plain steel ones from Borgeson. What John has here appear to be the stainless Borgesons (?) which would be almost corrosion proof. Both are good quality products, just different approachs/materials/finishes for more options to we users.

    Yes sir, they are indeed the stainless steel Borgesons ..... and I should probably state that the shafts are stainless steel also

    Depending on the look you are after you can get non polished stainless joints at Borgeson quite a bit cheaper then polished ones from them or nickel plated from flaming river.
