Steve, thats all seriously cool.
I would like to redo the rear in my 26T coupe as it sits too high in the bum (has an old Mk4 Zed car rear but may soon get replaced with an XJ6 Jag one).
A new chassis with a decent kickup will get my t coupe low, but then I cant figure out where to store my stuff when I go off to runs etc. I will not tow a trailer behind my hotrod.
I see a bunch of T coupes that sit way low but I was wondering how much room you will have left in your boot (trunk for our American friends) when it looks like the rear end goes thru the midle of the trunk space.
Also, where you fit a decent sized gas tank.
Thanks
Todd

I'm not to bothered about trunk space Todd, if my measuements are correct i should have room for a tank around 12 gallons or maybe a bit more, I will make a custom shaped tank that will sit tight against the seat back.
For weekends away i tow a teardrop trailer and usually throw our hand luggage in there or in the pickup bed of Sue's 29A R/P
I know what you mean about towing a trailer but its a handy space for stuff, maybe i should put a towbar on Sue's car

Steve, that is absolutely beautiful workmanship..I love the detail in everything you have done on that chassis..Like that teardrop too, started designing one a few years back, but had to push it out of the way a few times now..Its just a bunch of bent tubes at the moment, but,I hope to get back to it again in the near future..Like everyone else,I am eagerly awaiting some more pix of that project.....Incidentally,I dont have pound sign on my keyboard,,I feel deprived...
Keep up the fabulous work mate, thats awesome..

For those who maybe didn't see it, I posted pictures of Steves other car a while back. He has a green flaked 32 roadster that is just as detailed as this one, and red rpu that is his Wife Sue's hot rod. She is every bit the rodder he is and when you hang out with the two of them she is just like one of the guys...........however, a lot better looking.
Here are a couple of Steves other rides: (He has made a few errors though until he learned better, like putting the steering wheel on the wrong side)

Neat work! Really like the "take what you got and make it work" attitude on the build!!! Just cuz there isn't one in the catalog is no reason it can't be built! Great work, really 1st rate craftsmanship!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I like it, Steve. Very good way to accomplish latching the doors and raising the windows. When do you find time to do all of this, what with your regular jobs and all? Every post you have made so much more progress.

Someone asked me how i got the square hole in the handles, so here goes
I used a piece of 2.5mm stainless sheet, bent it to a tight 90 degree in the vice with the aid of a hammer, then clamped it around a square shaft and tack welded the 2 corners, then i fuse welded the 2 sides, this was then dressed to slide into a 17mm hole in the handle stub. once welded into the handle stub the face was dressed and the handle welded to the stub, Then polished the weld out.

WOW awesome work Steve and man you have given me some excellent ideas on how to do the inner door frames for my Bucket ,but on a smaller scale ofcourse, thanks. And I don't have to worry about windows.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

I've been checking in and figured the site had died forever. I checked today and bam it's back on. Awesome. I don't contribute much here, I just come to read and enjoy hotrod builds and good company...
