Description
1923 Model T, 409 with Dual Quads. Has a lot of exceptional work done on it. This is all steel (Not a Kit Car) original 1923 Roadster body with a 28-29 Model A Ford P/U Bed modified and crafted onto body. Full leather interior. Body has 1x1 rectangular tubing framework with all steel floor. Custom 2x4 rectangular frame with aftermarket super bell 5” drop I-Beam axle with 32” monoleaf spring and split wishbone suspension. Engine is a 1960 Chevy 348 with motor .030 over with 65 truck heads. A 409 Dual 4 intake with a 2 Edelbrock 500cfm carbs. A 6 qt 409 oil pan with Hi-Volume big block oil pump. Isky valve train including a 409 race grind cam with competition springs and hardened push rods and roller rockers. Transmission is a GM 200-4R 4 speed overdrive with custom shift kit and manual lockup, 2000 Stall Hughes converter. Differential is a 9” Ford with 3.73 gears, open rear end. Brakes – dual Master Cylinder mounted beneath the floor with metric GM disc in front and 11” Ford drums in rear. Tires – 285-R70-15 radial wide white rears on 15x10 steel wheels and fronts are 165-R15 wide whites on 15x41/2. Both are BF Goodrich radials. TOP – removable soft top and frame. Fuel Tank – car has 12 gallon aluminum custom fuel tank with gauge & sender, electric fuel pump. Built in 2010 –just turned 12,000 miles. Winner – Overall 2nd place at the 2010 T-Bucket “NATIONALS” in Colorado Springs,
