| Description |
| Chopped and channeled 1928 Model A body on a custom frame. The engine is a carbureted Chevy 5.3L V8 from a late model Tahoe with factory automatic transmission and Ford 8.8 inch rear end. It has about a 5 inch chop and channel, custom frame, and single leaf suspension in the front and coil over suspension in the rear. About a year ago I replaced the starter and flex plate. Everything else on the drivetrain is how I got it. There's no odometer, so I've been doing oil changes and fluid checks every other month or so. This past year from about March to October it sat in a storage unit while I was deployed to Afghanistan. It fired right up upon my return and I drove it home without any problems. As you can see, the interior and "standard" equipment are either bare bones or non-existent. It is mechanically sound, although it does have its quirks. One of the brake lines has a small leak and should be replaced. Just topping off the reservoir before taking it down the road keeps the brakes working though and is a temorary fix. It is registered in Georgia with a DMV inspection as an antique with no title due to the year. If you have any other questions or would like more pictures, please feel free to ask. Thank you. Serious inquires only. Call 636-290-8289. |
