Schumacher's Super Team???

Watching the drags from Vegas, they just said that Don Schumacher bought out the team Antron Brown drives for???? Man, he's gonna own everything!!!!! I guess Force needs to buy 3 digger teams to go with the funny car teams and it'll be an all Schumacher vs. Force show!!!!!! Holy buckets, gotta say that Don must be one heck of a businessman to put all that together and find the financing and sponsors to keep them all running and winning!!!!!

Agree 100% ......... the only Pro category worth watching is Pro Stock ........ and sometimes that's "iffy" ........... good to see Mike Edwards (an independent) winning that chase

I notice they have a sponsor for a Pro Mod series for next year and it will be televised on ESPN2. They will run at 10 of the National events. For me those are exciting to watch, kind of a cross between a Pro Stock and Funny Car, buit with any body style you want, running way over 200.

Schumacher makes me not want to watch my favorite sport anymore. He make's me sick. I've been a fan since the early 60's and it's just not that much fun anymore. Don is killing it. Can't he stick to at least one class instead of trying to dominate everything. Maybe he should just buy all the teams and then he wins. I hope you read this Don STARDUSTWONDERBREADMAN---By the way I just tossed my battery charger.

The Pro Mod stuff will be alright, but I wish they'd give at least an hour per event for the top alcohol and comp eliminator classes!!!! The guy they have doing it (Fry) on the rare occasions they actually put something on the tube does one heck of a good job with the announcing, he includes a lot of background on the driver's, cars, and classes...I think that's what it's going to take to bring drag racing back to the forefront in Motorsports!!!! Seems eventually the guys at NHRA would get tired of running such a distant second to NASCAR and wake up....but maybe not... Heck, maybe if Humy Wheeler buys the whole shebang he can save it!!!! Right now, there isn't poop out there for sponsorship money, and not a heck of a lot of fan interest.....

NASCAR is doing their best to run the fans over to NHRA..They both need to get rid of the super teams and limit the amount of cars an owner can field.

I vote for 2 cars---one top fueler and one funny car--that way , there will be NO team tactics

I really think Don S is the only person in nitro racing that I don't like and it goes back to seeing him with some kind of a silly object with funny smelling smoke coming out of it---he probably doesn't remember-----

I like the idea, but it'll never happen, too much money on the line.
I agree on Schumacher and then again Lucas has a pretty good stable going.

just saw where NHRA is doing some testing with Cruz and Tim Wilkerson---single mag, smaller fuel pump, less blower, one less clutch disc, etc----
