Force vs. Force
Ok, today's question.
You're John Force.
Semi finals of Funny Car eliminations at Las Vegas.
You're leading the points race.
Your daughter is in the other lane.....
Do you let her win????

Heck, I can't even imagine my daughter (or me for that matter) getting in one of them dang things.... But if we were, she's my baby girl...I couldn't put her in the trailer!!!!!
Could you????

I've never known a 'real' racer that races to lose, I wouldn't care if it's the wife, daughter, mother or grandmother in the next lane, when the ambers come on, it's game on!!!

Would anyone else let her win?
Make her work for it like anyone else.
She must be good or she wouldn't even be there!!!

I wouldn't cut her any slack.
How about Ashley cutting the Ol' man some slack......naaaah that wouldn't happen either.

If Ashley is ANYTHING like her dad and she sensed that he let up, she would be all over him. THAT is one competitive family and VERY good at what they do.

That whole team is a result of who and what John Force is/-----the money for the other cars is just extra left over from John's car that he gives back to the fans by way of the other cars---
I'm glad to see him motivated again----Robert and Ashley can just go have John's grandkids so he'll have reasons to go visit ====

Force is one competitive dude, but what doesn't get much attention is that his "rebirth" coincides with Zippy taking over from Coil............even the best have to yield at some point.

I wouldn't think so, racers are too competitive and proud, she'd feel worse winning unfairly than just losing to Dad by a hair!

I say let her go all out if she wins then she has earned it. Her Dad really should be proud if she won by a fair race. After all who did she learn from?
