What do you guys think. I do not know to much about them because I have never took the time to learn. My brother has a daughter that is set on the PETA way. He asked here where does she get this info from , she said school.  Not actually school but from she has told him she gets pamphlets and info when the school bus stops and people are waiting and handing the info as they come off the school bus.

.....not sure I would spend much time with this one as far as helping her out. They tend to make vegetarians and vegans look like cannibals with a missionary waiting to be cooked

I was a member of peta years ago to stop the testing of cosmetics on animals. since then they have gotten more militant and the extremeist have taken over. I am no longer a member.

I'm a pet lover through and through, but PETA goes way too far IMO. They just had a rally where they were protesting people catching fish with a rod and reel.  I've often wondered what their stand would be on things like fireants or house flys. If we were able to make them extinct, would they be out protesting those "animals" being eradicated? (Oh, that's right, Obama swatted a fly and there was an outcry.  )

PETA is the same group that "protested" the President killing a fly. They seem to go a little overboard. In a Green Peace kind of way.
