I am in the Army and currenty stationed at Ft Bragg, NC and have since been deployed 3 times to Iraq. We dont do for the money cause we sure aren't getting rich. We do for our families and for love of our nation. I would personally like to thank each and everyone that has ever sent something to a sevicemember deployed overseas.

Well Sir, you just made my day! There's a lot of ex military guys (mostly Viet Nam Era) and speaking as one of them, I truly appreciate your service to this country and your dedication to freedom for people everywhere. You are a great American - Blessings to you and Godspeed and safety to our troops!
Sincerest Regards,
Glenn

PoomPow. My husbands first cousin is also stationed at Fort Bragg. His name is Lt. Col. Anthony Dill. He is in command of the Golden Knights. He and his dad are building a fantastic Mustang. If you know him please get him to join this forum. He is a really great guy.

Joe,
Cool site. Having a kid in the Army I know how many freakin socks he goes through... one of the most important and vital tools a soldier has is his/her feet... they need to stay dry and healthy... great drive.
I'm having trouble figuring out where the link is to donate specifically to that cause... It opens a paypal link but it looked to me like it was in support of the website... which I know is important too... any more direction on the link for the socks drive?
Jeri

It's been awhile since this thread has had any new post so I thought I would bring it up. My sister sent these pictures today of her son, my nephew Major Greg.
This is his third time in Iraq. He will be coming home the first part of July, my prayers are sent to him along with all of the other soldiers that are there and all over the World doing their part. He thanked me along time ago for doing my part during the Viet Nam War and I was just a State side soldier. Thanks Greg, God Bless and get home safe.

Well Richard when you see your nephew give him a vise grip handshake, a big bear hug & a big Thank You from me. Hell drink a beer for me in honor of him & the rest of the military folks while you're at it.
Joe,Jr is getting stationed in Japan for the next 3yrs & is leaving sometime the end of July. Sure wished he wasn't going BUT hey I did tell him if he gets a chance to travel to GO. MMM, maybe we'll have to plan a trip....joe

I sure will Joe, I'm proud of him as is his Mother. Greg's Dad was a Marine. He passed away a couple of years ago he would of been be proud of his Son like you and your wife are of your Son. Good luck to your Son and his Wife. I wish him and his wife a safe tour and enjoy their time over in Japan.
Always proud to see a man or woman serving our Country.

Thanks, Steve I will. It would be nice if they could all come home and get back with their families. How is your brother doing? I hope things are going good for him.

He's doing well Richard. He's been back stateside for awhile now. Matter of fact we will be going to Seattle next month to visit him. I haven't seen him in almost 4 years, even though we talk on the phone fairly often!
