That would be one heck of a good plan!!!!!! Maybe take a bit of nitro % away, too??????? Sure would be fun if things were limited a bit so others could afford it too!!!! Gonna be essential to change some of the rules just to get a full field of cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Used to be a long time ago in a drag racing world only remembered by a few old timers----NHRA would only accept double the entries for a class plus the last years winner of the event---keep in mind that they ran 32 car fields then so that equaled 65 entries

The fields are so small now that they should just forget about qualifying and run everybody, probably based on pea pick or points standing for the ladder---or maybe the 4 wide like the recent race andthen use the double elimination process where when you lose the second time your out

Good points, Jerry... NHRA has made the Pro Classes such an exlusive and expensive club to join, think it's probably coming back to bite them now, huh???? Heck, I remember when our little podunk track had 50 cars in Super Stock Eliminator classes every Sunday....now they don't even run any class racing.... Brackets have replaced all the class racing around here, it's the only way the average guy can afford to have a car.....
