    no I'm talking about the 302 heads for a 69 mach1.... flow damn good, and dont have any bit of smog equipment on them... even the 93 cobra heads have smog equipment on them.... we live in a world now full of the EPA, and the newer the vehicle it came off of... the more crap there is to make it run "clean" and if your vehicle isn't setup to use certain smog equipment things they put on different parts.... it'll make the engine run worse

    I am not trying to argue. I just don't understand what you are talking about. What smog equipment? Sure I understand that there is smog equipment on newer cars. But it really doesn't affect the heads.

    The only thing you would have to do is block off the egr passages on the back of the heads (no brainier). And remove the emission bumps from the exhaust ports during the porting process Is their something I'm missing? What other "smog" equipment is there on the heads.
