    Question HO Timing

     



    Hey Blue Oval guys,I seen on a factory sticker under the hood of a 86 Mustang 302HO to time that motor in drive.I am running a 87 302ho in my 53 Ford F-100 and would like to know how you do it.

    same way you would time any other 302, except instead of pulling the vaccuum advance theres a little plastic clip that you unplug, if you looked in a chiltons manual it would tell you what its called, and the timing would depend, ussually a 302 is 6 degrees retarded or 10 degrees advanced
