302 ford distributer to 289 or 260
Hi everyone, Does anybody know if I could use an older non electronic dist. in place of one that has one of those small boxes screwed onto the bottom.I would like to just run one that is just vacuum mechanical.

You don't say what it's going into but, in general.. yes, it "should" fit.

Is that the right kind of fitting? It looks like it should be a tapered fitting. Isn't the bottom of the rack fitting tapered?
