351w/C4box/flexplates
Can anyone elaborate on the subject of C4 bellhousings to 351w engines and why flexplates have different numbers of teeth and what fits what?

There were 2 basic C4 transmissions used behind the SB Fords in the 60s.
What was often referred as the large case/truck case used the big flex plate, it can be identified by the dipstick tube that goes into the transmission pan.
The Small case/Car case uses the small flex plate and can be identified by the dipstick that goes into the transmission case above the transmission pan.
.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
