351w stroke to a 393 clevor need little help
hey every one im starting to do a overhaul on the comet i hope to have picks soon im doing gasser comet with a 46 in axle set up with chevy spindels from speedway. anyway i have 74 351w block and im strokeing it to a 393 and im useing cleveland heads 393 clevor this is what i want i been going back and forth for a year now on what engine i wanted to do. i dont want aliminum heads i want the old cleveland heads so please dont try to change my mine i know in will cost little more money and little harder to do but this what i want. so if u you could give any tips i try researching 351 clevor but not to much help. do i have to get custom piston or any 302 piston will work will 351 rods work or i got get custom i heard sb chevy stuff will work what do i need to do to make a 393 clevor any info will go a long way i know somebody built this moter on here to many engine guru on here to not have. ps i have 4v and 2v cleveland heads i was thinking of useing the 2v heads and port and polish them.because they ar more streetable. thanks again for any info.
