Ya Dave I know some of the old 289 heads had a cresent shaped water ports.
I had to do something about them years ago when I did a Mexican style boss 302.
I thought it was just something with the head gasget? But it was a long time ago.
Lamin8r; I've got a 351 Cleveland thats got all the good stuff in it, but only have the stock 4V heads with double springs good valves and guid plates. You have to rev the
piss out of them to get to HP range. With those new heads it would be able to pull all the way thru the RPM range. The engine has not been run yet, Still have to purchase
March pully set up and Webber carbs I want, mostly just for looks. HE! HE! HE!
