Is there a hole in the pan for a tube? If so, go to any speedshop or even Autozone and pick up a chrome universal one. You might have to do a little tweaking to get it to fit the hole, but it can be made to work. To calibrate the dipstick, change the oil, add exactly the number of quarts of oil this engine pan is supposed to be, and then insert the dipstick. Pull it out and scratch a line on it at the full mark with a hacksaw or similar.
I've done this a few times and it works fine. Sometimes you have to use something like JB Weld as a caulk to get the new tube to fit tight in the hole.

Pan "should have" a threaded bung, not a slide in tube style.
Junkyard or dealer on this one.
Is this what you need? Autoloc's description says it's a Ford C4 Pan Mount Transmission Dipstick. Part #SS20.

THX Guys !!!
Some good ideas ...
Itoldyouso - This maybe the way we good in the long run ... Its somewhat like we are running now; but, we are having trouble keeping it sealed .... So, we were hopin' for a stock unit or an after market replacement ...
nitrowarrior - Its an older model then that; consequently, the slide in tube without a threaded bung ...
MikeB - Sorry !!! Its the engine oil pan dipstick that we are lookin' for ... But I'll check Autoloc's website and rest of their products ...
Anybody else got ideas OR one laying at the bottom of their collective parts stack ???

I used one of the rear sump pans in a project, just took the stock tube and stick and cut them down to the correct size for a car....then marked the stick....
Got mine (pan, pickup tube, dipstick, and tube) out of a rollover van at the U-Pull it...Think the whole deal cost me about $25.00....
THX Dave ...
So did we ... But it doesn't seem to want to seal at the pan tube (missing seal or something) and what a mess it creates ... Thats why we were lookin' for a different fix ...
THX again ..

yeah, they are a booger to get sealed!!!! I ended up with a small o ring on the tube and some red RTV...then reshaped the bracket that holds the tube in place to put a bit more down pressure on the tube... Worked ok, no leaks anyway....
what year van.???i had a 74 and the dipstick tube was bolted to the side of the pan on the passengers side.3 bolts.
