If you could manage to trip over a pair of GT-40 heads they make decent power, too.... Even came on some of the Explorers....

Dave I know of those and hope the U pick have them before someone else finds them . The P heads seem to be limited to exhaust but the GT 40 would be a great selection .
Or ---- the GT40P's they could look like this fully 'dressed'. The combustion chamber is 65.5cc so is somewhat better with the valve size the same as the "good" OEM '69-'74s.
well made a call but I wonder about hardened seats for unleaded . Price is right . But the newer heads as mentioned do eliminate the valve seat issue .

OOPS!! Thought I had listed that info, but us seniors do have a short term memory problem:LOL::LOL:
Intakes are 1.84
Exhausts are 1.54
This is the same as the good OEM early 351W's.
The biggest problem with these heads is trying to find an exhaust header that allows you to remove spark plugs. I have the special (or not so) Sanderson's but still needed to modify a thin wall socket for a couple
Thanks Dave. Good size for the street and reasonable RPM..
