351 Cleveland 2V
I just hauled a '48 F1 home as a parts truck. It has a 351 Cleveland 2V in it with an auto. Is this motor worth anything? I don't plan to use it as it will require rebuilding but I hate to just toss it if someone can use it and/or the trans. I haven't pulled any numbers off it but I will be stripping the truck in the next week or so and can get the numbers then.

Yup, they're a good engine. Wish it wasn't so far away, would like to have it! Probably not a lot of $$$$$ but somebody around there should need one...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Don't they use the 2 barrel 351 heads on a 302 to create a faux Boss 302??

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
