On the street, the 2V heads worked better then the 4v... But with all the good aftermarket heads today, no reason to mess with them. He's wanting 500 horse, it will take more then the 4V Clevelands to get there with a streetable engine....Last edited by Dave Severson; 08-04-2006 at 06:49 AM.

yup, this is a fun one, needs to be streetable, on a limited budget...... even though i think one of those 427 stroker kits would get him therejust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

thank you guy's
thank you guy's,but have any one seen that article on the jon kasse heads were he made 511hp out of a 89-302 @7800rpm stock motor with his small block heads victor jr. intake comp cam 256 degree soild roller cam and a 750 holley carb.i'm thinking if he did that with a stock 302 what will it do on a 30 over 351w 10.5.1 motor with a set of good rods and stock crank.because i have a 351w short block.i'm thinking 1700.00 for the heads 200 to 450 for set of good rods and maybe a better crank for 200 to 400 dollars if needed.talk to me and let me know what you all think because you're very-very helpful and i really appreciated it.you guy's are the best.and thank again-morris-Last edited by morris; 08-06-2006 at 05:17 PM.
