Vicious Venturi pt.II
Here are my carb's symptoms-
cold startup-rough idle, loads up, after a few restarts, idles to about 2000 rpm
farts and flutters, excess fuel consumption
timing's great, spark good, egr band new
after a while driving its fine but still has the high idle
no vacuum leaks
-oh by the way this thing is a feedback 2v. Whats the 4 wire harness plugged into on the front corner? Idle? Deceleration? Help!

Victitious again
Well after I get all the help I can with this carb mess, I can move on(venting...)
This car came from an elder with 39k original miles on it. everything works, other than the crappy 2v carb wanna be electronic...
Grey leather interior fron a 96 Town Car, rims from a 96 Crown Vicdash pad and cluster from a 93 Ltd Crown Vic, XM,CD,Cerwin vegs, etc. What can I do to make this thang move without killing its drivetrain? Can a rear from an 80's stang fit from drum to drum? can I dump the egr and put a real carb on it? Will dumping the egr make a need to adjust timing?
