help with camhaft installation

i am putting a new cam, ppushrods, and timing chain on a friend of mine's 302 bronco i have worked on chevys b4 and i have a pretty good idea of what im doing, this is the first ford small block i have worked on (i have worked on FE's) i have heard that u dont have to adjust the valves on a fsb but i wanted to make sure. also do i have to set the lifter preload on this 302 the same way i would on a small block chevy? i have a really good idea of what im doing but i just want to make sure because its not my car.

ok it is a 67 bronco with a 302 in it. the car has a stock intake with a holley 600cfm i am installing a crane cam with 216/216 lift and 484/484 duration

Lift and duration are transposed.

Does it have the pedestal type rocker arms, or 3/8 studs with adjustable rockers??

im not sure i will have to look at it when i get the truck on firday afternoon

i think the motor is a later model i think however built the car swapped it in so i will have to figure out what year it is by looking at the casting # when i get the truck to my house
