I found out earlier that all of my backfiring and lack of power was because of eight bad exhaust valves, and two pistons with basically no piston rings. (The air from the leakdown, went straight in and right back out). So that brings me to my current question. Does anyone here think it would be possible to put a SBC into this car. I have one that is fairly built up and would like something to use it in. Do you people forsee any major fitment problems? The electrical would be easy considering that my car is carbeurated and not fuel injected. What about motor mounts and headers.....do you think they would fit? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
