    Question 302/351 Firing Order?

Ok, I understand that the the 302 and the 351W have a different firing order.
If I decide on a 351 for my project and buy a typical SB Ford cam it is intended for a 289/302. is it as simple as installing the cam then just installing the plug wires with the 302 firing order?
Crank throws in the same position, etc?

I went through this same problem one time...

You need to go with the 302 firing order....i had that same issue and it drove me nuts trying to figure it out until i realized the cam was for a 351/302 and then i looked at the firing order for both and realized they were 4 off. what a mess. yeah go with the 302 firing order.

The H. O. 351W uses the same firing order as the 302. The low performance (2V) uses a different one. I'd be glad to give them to you, but I don't know what my son did with all of the data we collected when we rebuilt his 351W Torino GT.
