Can anyone tell me what size plug would go into the hole in the rear of the heads for a 302. This is where the air injector bolts on at the rear of the heads. If you have a part number for the bolts that would be great.

not positive but i believe its the same size as the freeze plugs that screw into the block isn't it?
Easiest way is a freeze plug and a small plate over it. The hole is not threaded, by the way. Pound the freeze plug into the hole (I don't remember the size, NAPA has them for me), then fab a small plate to cover the freeze plug and attach it to the head where the bolt used to go for the air tube. The plate probably is not essential, I always make one just to be real sure the plug stays in. I install the plug with just a bit of hi-temp sealant on it, too.
I don't know if this pertains but, I did a 351 that had the air ports and they were threaded and it was a Metric thread....
I used a 1/2 deep bolt with sealer...
