    302 or 351??

Ok Ford masterminds. As yall can see I have been a chevy man for a long time. I am slowly easing into the Ford family. The Mustang I am going to buy supposedly has had a 351 put in the place of the 302. How can I check and identify if this has really happened?

Chevyman; The 351w is wider then the 302 and has taller decks.
I would check the intake manifold first then If it does not have it marked there check the width of the engine.
    The width of a 302 is 24inches and a 351 is 25inches.
    The Hieght of a 302 is 27.5 and a 351 is 29inches.
the weight of a 302 is 460pds. compard to 525 pds. of the 351w.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah it's not a glitch you know why? Denny posted a thread a little bit ago, right when he posted it I started to reply. By the time I pushed submit to put up my long post I made someone deleted his thread.... Hmm wonder why it did that? :?

Wonder why thats happening, I didn't think that just any one could delet your thread. I did notice the site running a little slow.
Ya sure it's not a glitch? I'm not really sure how web sites are set up or what problems a big site like this must run into every day, with so many members. I have a huge computer all up to date and every thing and I still have problems if you know what I mean.

Vegas, I think you might be onto something. Ever since the last time the system went down (ClubHotRod's) I've seen a couple of my post disappear and I've started getting all these unwanted stock tips and other spam crap. Never had that problem before and it started almost instantly with ClubHotRod coming back on line. It's like someone piggy backed onto the forums. JMO
