I have an '81 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup with 305/2bbl and 350 THM running a Summit version of the 327/275hp cam with their lifters and a timing chain set. My stepdaughter and her granddad mostly drive the truck, and they aren't very careful with it's maintenance. I would say that after almost two years, the thing runs better than it did 6 months after the cam/lifter/timing chain redo. I like Comp Cams, and usually use their stuff, but I couldn't justify the expense in this instance so I used the Summit brand instead. I've got no regrets at this point, the Summit merchandise apparently is as good as any other brand they sell through their catalog business. If you choose to go with Summit's house brand, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
