Just a big THANK YOU to everyone

Hello folks. I know that people come and go on these forums after getting the info they need. I just wanted to stop and say Thank You to everyone who ever read any of my forum questions about my 68 Fairlane 500 fastback with the FE390 and took the time to try and help me. This is by far the best place I have ever got information from and being new to working on Ford engines like the 390, it was very helpful and comforting to know that when I ran into a problem I could always count on you good folks to share your knowledge and help. My newest project has not been so intense as I just acquired a rare 1977 Pontiac Le Mans Can Am. Little problems with this car compared to the Fairlane which I have mostly got taken care of. Good Karma sent to you all and thanks again. You're my kind of people.

So it is nice when someone who has gained from "our" help... says thanks.

I've always felt that what sets this site apart is that we all just enjoy machines or autos or planes or trains etc. etc., and we genuinely like sharing that enjoyment with others. Heck, we even enjoy models of cars we used to have or grew up seeing.

Yes, and although the family may of decreased in active numbers over the reason years, the stayers are absolutely brilliant. I do miss Don and his pictures of the cats etc. and his son's projects but we all have choices to make and sometimes those choices upset others, so sadly, Don has gone. Thank you for your kind words Sir.
