Not likely in my opinion. little difference in drawing in air w\fuel or air w\fuel & some crankcase gases.
Why no pcv system? It does help in a street motor.
FE engines leak oil better without a proper working PCV----------
A build up of crank case pressure has a lot more vulnerable areas in the sealing of an FE--------rear main seal--manifold areas galore
And the corners of the block, intake, and head were all vulnerable to leaking more so than other engines?
It is a much more complicated engine to seal than the old Y blocks----------not only does the intake manifold seal the valley, but it fits under the intake/head area and just about any parts changing/machining screws up the sealing surfaces/diminsions plus the front cover does sorta the same thing for the flat pan/block surface
After reading your posts I think it best to install a pcv or breather of some sort of crankcase breather to reduce pressure and reduce leaking as much as possible. Because as many fe engines that I've seen I've seen very few that don't leak and I am kinda going for the show look. The dripping oil seems to take away from the fresh painted ford blue motor. It looks like shit huh.
