Casting numbers on the heads are located between the two middle spark plugs.
Casting number on the block would be on the bottom of the engine block, both sides, doifferent numbers cast in, even if it was a X block it would still have casting numbers.

Post them, take pictures of the exhaust ports and post it all here. It could be worth $6,000 it could be worth $20,000 it all depends on the casting numbers and internals. Right now, with no receipts, I'm thinking more on the low side. As for the connection with HM, there would be stampings in the rear pad just below the heads on the drivers side. If there are stampings there, post them for confirmation, otherwise, forget about added value for something that cannot be proven.
