Hey guys, just wanted some alternate opinions from some others.....I have a 67 Galaxie that is torn down and the 390 is out to be rebuilt...it was my wifes car and was going to be our daughters first car. I was able to get a 66 Mercury Parklane for a steal and now that is the daughters first car (with a 410 in it now less)....anyway, I was thinking of putting the 390 into my shoebox and wanted your opinions on that? I originally was gonna put a 302 stroked to a 347, but now that the Galaxie is gonna be awhile, why not use the 390? I am in the process of putting a front clip in the shoebox so it would be beefed up enough to handle it but any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, James

Will you have room for the front sump pan? Depending on what suspension you put on it, could be a bit crowded...for either engine..
