bubbles in the power stering resouiver

I own a 62 thunderbird that when I turn the stering wheel slowly coming into my driveway I here a slight moaning sound. Now someone suggested to go slowlgy and turn the wheel all the way to the left and then to the right to get rid od the air. How does that disapate the bubbles. Do I need to unhook the return line and let it drain out or what. Please advise. ps I did take it for a ride today and still see air bubbles in the resouiver after turn the wheel all the way to the the left and then right moving slow. By the way the belt is tight and the idle is set to 575 rpms. Still have the tiny bubbles do I need to keep turning. By the way how is that procedure get rid of the air in the line. Iam I more concern with the return line or the other line. Do I need to disconnect the return and let it drain out and start over. Thanks Larry
