Do you know what your compression is???
And did you look at you engine ID numbers
or know what heads you have?
Pull a valve cover off and look for some
numbers that start with the letter C
and give them to us. also if you look
above the starter I believe on that will
be your engine ID numbers which also start
with a C. You may already have a good set
of heads, don't change anything till you can ID
what you have.

The compression is 8.9 to 1 with C7AE-A heads ( found the casting numbers on the heads). My parents bought this truck new so I am sure of what engine is in it.
