using a 390 or 428 crank with stock 352 rods ??
Ive got a 352 block bored .080 over with brand new pistons and stock rods for that motor.Brand new stock ford heads for that as well.I dont have the numbers here with me but i know its an early/mid 60's block ( if that makes a difference here) WE also have a 488 lift cam for this . Now....I also have the original crank that was out of this that looks pretty good but has not been checked yet.The freshly bored block with new bearings in it is on the stand and ready to go.This is going into a 65 fairlane that has a rebuilt C-6 with man valve body.I think for the first run we are going to try a 456 gear. here is the question .....can we use a larger crank (390 or 428 ) with these new stock rods for the 352 block?
Great update, Mike! I adhere to Clint Eastwood's philosophy on aging, "Don't let the old man in!" Once in he's hard to evict. Thanks for keeping us involved with your projects!
