		distrubutor and heads
I have the 58 fairlane with the 332. It has the original points distributor. I want to change to electronic. Can I buy an OE distributor for a later model 390 and use that. The 332 has been bored to 4.05 and has the 390 crank, rods, and pistons. I also have the 63 model 390. I am thinking i will use the 63
short block with the 4 barrel intake off the 332. Which heads are better 332 or 390? If I can come up with the cash I would like to take the 390 to a 406 if that is even possible. What do you guys think? I appreciate all the great info I have found on here. If I can figure out how to put pictures on here I will show you my project. I have been around this car for 20 years, owned it for 3 and just now getting to where I can work on it.

The electronic ignition is a bolt in, Don't know much about the 332 heads, not sure I've ever even seeen a pair. I happened upon a pair of heads off a 390 GT car, put some good valves and springs in them after a bit of match porting and CC'ing and used them on a 390 .060 over, made real nice power, great torque....

		thanks dave
I have heard they will increase the compression due to smaller chambers but don't know anything about how they flow. How can i tell which heads are on the 390. all I know is they are 61 heads by casting #. c1ae there is also a 2G on them if that means anything
